Avatar Arena
(Cosplay Contest)

The Avatar Arena is one of the main highlights of Press Play Con 2026, where creativity, performance, and identity come to life on stage. This is more than a cosplay competition—it’s an immersive showcase where participants fully embody their chosen characters through costume design, acting, and storytelling. Contestants step into the spotlight to present their “avatar,” combining visual impact, personality, and performance before a live audience.

The arena is designed to be energetic and interactive, featuring character introductions, themed walk-ons, and performance segments that allow cosplayers to express not just how they look—but who they become. It’s a space where fandom meets stage presence, and where every participant has the chance to transform into something unforgettable.

Overall Goal of the Cosplay Categories

These four categories ensure:

  • Inclusivity (casual to competitive)

  • Creativity (performance and fusion)

  • Community participation

They allow everyone—from beginners to professionals—to be part of the experience.

Cosplay Contest Categories

This category is open to all attendees who sign in as casual cosplayers on the day of the event.  Participants will be assigned a number, walk across the stage, and strike a pose for the judges and audience.
